DocuSign Permission Profiles
DocuSign groups settings and behaviors together into Permission Profiles.
Profiles Used at Marquette

DocuSign Viewer – This is the default role assigned to anyone with a valid Marquette email address who creates an account after signing a document.

Dept User – This user role is reserved for university employees who will need to send one-time digital documents. A Dept User can use shared templates but cannot create templates.

Dept PowerUser – Users with the PowerUser role can build templates and PowerForms for users.

Dept Admin – Dept Admins can add users, assign permission profiles, and run account-wide reports.

- Dept Users have a yellow box on the Home tab and on the Manage tab to send an envelope.
- Dept PowerUsers have a yellow NEW box on the Templates tab.
- Only Dept Admin have the Settings tab.
