For Instructors: Combine D2L Courses in CheckMarq Faculty Center
Instructors can create or modify D2L Course Combines through CheckMarq Faculty Center.
The CheckMarq Faculty Center lists all an instructor's class sections in any given semester. These class sections can be used for any course combines needed within D2L. Instructors can create and manage D2L course combines by following the instructions below.
Important: When creating a course combine, student and instructor enrollments move from the D2L child course site(s) into the selected parent course. Please note that any existing course materials or student data (grades, dropbox submissions, discussion posts, etc.) do not move from the child course(s) to the parent course. Export any child course materials or student data before creating the combination. When the D2L Course Combine completes, instructors and students no longer have access to the child course(s) or any course materials or student data in them.
The D2L Course Combination process doesn't occur instantly. Changes made in the CheckMarq Faculty Center will appear in D2L within two hours. To combine courses not listed in your Faculty Center, submit a D2L Course Combine form.
