University-owned Computer Standards
With input from academic and administrative representatives, IT Services develops an Approved Standard Computer Configuration List with three tiers. Specifications are reviewed yearly for performance, security, pricing, and options. The configuration includes hardware, software, security policies, and value-added services. The tier 1 standard meets the needs of 90% of faculty and staff and is 100% covered by CRP. Departments that require tier 2 or tier 3 will be responsible for the cost difference from tier 1.
For pricing of the Tier 1 standards, visit the Vanguard punchout in Coupa/ MARQetplace.
