Faxing for Faculty and Staff
Marquette University uses Concord Technologies to fax for university business.
Fax from Outlook
- Open Outlook.
- Select New Mail to create an email message.
- The “To” field should be in the form of faxnumber@concordsend.com. For the fax number, use 1, the area code, and the fax number, followed by @concordsend.com
Example: 16085555555@concordsend.com
Note: You do not need a 9 before the number with Concord. Adding a 9 will cause the fax to fail.
- Enter a subject for your message.
- In the body of the message, type comments for the fax. Be sure to include the recipient in the comments.
- Attach the document to fax.
- Send the message.
- Concord replies with an initial (queued) and final (completed or failed) email response for your fax.
Scan and Fax a Paper Document
Scan the paper copy on a MFD (multifunction device) and send it to your email address. Then fax from Outlook. See step-by-step directions for Scanning to Myself from the MFD.
