Recommendations for New Employees
When you are notified that your account has been created, your first step should be to contact the TechSquad to obtain your initial password. Our security policy requires full-time employees to provide a photo ID for identity verification. Please email a picture of your photo ID to techsquad@marquette.edu with your name in the subject line. After sending the email, call us at (414) 288-7799 to complete the verification process and receive your initial login password. If you prefer you may also provide photo ID in person at TechSquad Central in Raynor Library on the first floor.
Once you have your password, we recommend the following steps:

Set Up Account Recovery and Reset Password: To ensure you never lose access to your account, set up recovery methods and reset your password to something unique and memorable. Refer to this article for more details on the process.

Update Personal Information: After resetting your password, sign in to MyJob to input your direct deposit information and update any personal information.

Access Secure Applications: Some applications, like MyJob, require access from the university’s secure network. If you need to access these applications off-campus, set up Microsoft Authenticator and install FortiClient VPN.

Set Up Email on Mobile Devices: To access your Marquette email on a mobile device, note that the default email application on your phone will not work. The setup process varies for Apple and Android devices. Please follow the appropriate instructions for your device.
